UNLEASH Your Creativity with Reflections!

If your child has chosen to participate in this year's PTA Reflections program, please follow these steps for a successful entry process. We can't wait to see what our creative Salamanders submit this year! 

1. Choose an area of expression. Students may enter as many projects as they wish in any of these categories.  Click on each category below to find out more information.

·  Dance Choreography

·  Film Production

·  Literature

·  Musical Composition

·  Photography

·  Visual Arts

2. Go to this site (not the National PTA website) and download the rules, entry form, and student checklist: http://www.ncpta.org/pta/reflections_forms.html

3. Prepare ONE ADDITIONAL COPY of the Artist Statement to go on display with your child's artwork. For the contest, all paperwork is attached to the back side of pieces, but for our judging/gallery purposes, we would like to ALSO hang a copy of the artist statement. Be sure your child's name is not on display for the extra statement or the front of the art itself (or it will have to be disqualified).

4. Turn in project(s) to the Salem Front office sometime during the week of September 13-17. When your child turns in a project, please have him/her pick up an invitation to deliver to a special teacher/guest.

5. Mark your calendar to attend our award ceremony, October 15, 6:00 PM at the Halle Art Center.
