Math-a-thon is a fun way for all Salem Salamanders to practice
math and better their skills. Each grade has a variety of grade specific
problems to solve. It is okay to ask for help; math-a-thons
are scored by PTA volunteers on number attempted. Kindergarten
students have 25 problems, and grades 1-5 have 50 problems each.
Math-a-thon is supported and encouraged by the staff as a great
review of the material covered over the course of the year. It's
also fun to do and students get recognition for participation.
