     SALAMA NDER FUND  

What is the Salamander Fund? It’s an easy, no-nonsense way for you to donate to our school. Absolutely 100% of the money donated to the fund will go towards needs at our school. It is tax deductible, and many employers will match the funds that you donate.

Where will the money go?  It is used for things such as teacher start-up funds, cultural arts programs, reading programs, and as always, technology. Last year, we were able to raise over $3500. This will be used to buy more Smart Boards and to update our video security system. Currently we have one Smart Board for each grade level. Our goal is to someday have one for every classroom! With budget cuts around the corner, the needs of the school are greater than ever. So please consider sending in a donation so that we may continue to support our teachers and our students.

How do you donate? Simply complete the form below and return it with your donation in a sealed envelope labeled Salamander Fund. Checks should be made payable to Salem Elementary PTA. All donations are confidential…no amount is too small. You may donate at any time, however it is helpful to have the money for our budget by September 30^th, 2009. We are happy to help you fill out any forms necessary for employer matching funds.
