Volunteers Needed:

    Do you want to get more involved at Salem
but not get inundated with need after need? 
Salem's PTA has perfected a way to make sure that you are contacted only when you want to be.  You choose the areas you are interested in helping with check those boxes on the VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP/PTA Membership form and we contact you by email or phone when an opportunity becomes available in that area. Look for your Volunteer Sign-up sheet coming home in your Friday Folder at the beginning of the new school year or

Field Day Information!

Tracks 1 and 3 will have Field Day on Friday, May 21st.  Their rain date will be Monday, May 24th.
 
Tracks 2 and 4 will have Field Day on Friday, June 18th. Their rain date will be Monday, June 21st.

Staff Appreciation Week for Tracks 1, 2 and 4 is May 10th - 14th
 
Monday, May 10th - Front Office Day
Tuesday, May 11th - Classroom Teacher Day
Wednesday, May 12th - Specialist Day
Thursday, May 13th - Custodian Day
Friday, May 14th - Bus Driver and Cafeteria Worker Day
 
Please take this opportunity to show our wonderful staff how much they mean to us. Some expressions of appreciation might be making a card or bringing in flowers, homemade gifts or goodies, or classroom supplies.

 

Qdoba Spirit Night!!
Join all your Salem friends for our upcoming Spirit Night at Qdoba Mexican Grill (Beaver Creek Commons in Apex)on Thursday, May 13, from 5-8 PM.  When you order, just make sure to donate the receipt to our PTA collection box at the restaurant.  Qdoba will then donate 10% of those proceeds to Salem Elementary PTA!

 

Hope to see you at our Qdoba Mexican Grill fiesta on May 13, 5-8 PM!!
